Mitradeep Sarkar Wins Young Researcher Award

Mitradeep Sarkar from Sorbonne Université, CNRS won the Young Researcher Award on Best Breakthrough Contribution at the International Conference on Nanofluids (ICNf) in Castello, Spain (26-28 June, 2019) for the paper entitled “Thermodiffusive properties of colloidal dispersions of maghemite nanoparticles in ionic liquids”. This was a presentation of the Magenta project at the conference.

My thesis in 180 seconds – Jesse Riedl

Jesse Riedl, a PhD student at CNRS/Sorbonne University has recently presented his thesis work in “Ma thése en 180 sec” competition. Jesse is working on synthesizing novel ionic-liquid based ferrofluids within the project. You can see his presentation (in French) at the 40^th minute here
